Introducing Beramarket

At Beramarket we seek to unify liquidity through the power of L1<>Berachain Interoperability, Liquid-Backed NFTs, and NFT aggregation.

Beramarket is a full featured $BERA-aligned marketplace built specifically for NFTfi on BeraChain+EVM and catered to Berachain natives. The platform provides an application layer for NFT aggregation and cross chain integration while incentivizing crowd-sourced liquidity and NFT collections with intrinsic reserve backed value.

Beramarket maintains three primary goals:

  1. Bridge (L1 NFTs <> Berachain) & NFT Marketplace Features

  2. Liquid-backed NFTs & Collateral Tools

  3. NFT Aggregation on Berachain

Beramarket uses a berachain indexing solution in coordination with indexing.co for aggregation of NFT data on Berachain, as well as parallel L1 functionality catered toward user activity on EVM+Berachain. A bridge-on, bridge-off feature using layer 0, and a Bera NFT indexer allows users to migrate NFTs to and from Berachain, taking advantage of the cross chain EVM compatibility and depth of liquidity offered through the chain.

A new mint standard inspired by the Perpetual Price Floor Liquidity Mechanism and modeled after the NFT Treasury & Liquidity Concept (NTLC) allows creators to share in NFT liquidity through a seamless minting experience that guarantees collection liquidity and establishes a constantly growing reserve for every NFT collection minted using the mechanism. Holders can trade their backed NFT on any marketplace, or utilize the backing and loan features through Beramarket directly.

Bridging (L1 NFTs <> Berachain) & NFT Marketplace Features

Upon berachain mainnet launch, Beramarket will provide a native bridge that allows NFT collectors to transfer NFTs from EVM to berachain. Berachain is working directly with LayerZero to provide a secure and user friendly bridge that can be integrated into our protocol. Beramarket is a feature-rich experience for NFT traders, offering a familiar NFT marketplace experience for Berachain users and new DeFi users alike. These features include but are not limited to:

  • Bridge

  • List

  • Sell

Liquid-backed NFTs & Collateral Tools

The Price Floor Liquidity Model allows:

1) Creators to guarantee the value of their NFTs through a collection treasury reserve backing the value of their NFTs, allowing auto-redemption through a smart contract. The collection treasury reserve always buys above former floor value, allowing for a only up price floor dynamic. Holders can also take loans against the backed value of their NFTs using the loan facility contracts.

2) Creators earn profits from royalty fees, giving them a sustainable source of income. They can weight their royalty earnings between increasing the treasury reserve value (re-investing back in their business) and pocketing their earnings.

3) Through certain fair value assumptions about networks, buyers & sellers can know the exact risk profile of an NFT investment. These fair value assumptions are explained in more detail in the rest of our documentation.

Bera Ecosystem & Aggregation

Sweeping functionality and market aggregation are becoming the new NFT meta. Aggregators like Gem, and now Uniswap, are focusing on gas optimized aggregation to unify NFT liquidity. Click-to-sweep features are providing an optimal user experience for traders who wish to sweep collections at optimal prices. Beramarket allows for sweeps and aggregates berachain NFTs, presenting them to users in a seamless way. Beramarket partners help the platform further expand through the Bera ecosystem, driving value to partners through early token exposure, tech collaborations, and more. A user friendly creator-flow will allow us to further expand to a broad set of partners as the platform rolls out to Berachain mainnet users. Primary Partners:

  • Berachain

  • Bongbears

  • OlympusDAO

  • HoneyJar

  • Mibera

  • Indexing.co
